I don’t keep a diary, but find music can connect me to memories in a similar manner, so I was saddened when the fantastic service that was ThisIsMyJam was closed down in 2015. I’d been compiling a top 3 LP and Single list at the end of each year since 2011 as a highlight of what music moved me that year the most, and it’s become an annual tradition around Christmas and New Year to think about these top 3 lists. I used to just tweet them, then I added playlists to YouTube, but found out as videos get removed over time, it can be hard to look back on older lists so I decided to archive them on my website.
